Dubai jobs | Indian man comes out lucky in the UAE’s Dh15 million Big Ticket draw


Dubai Directory announced its lucky winner of the whopping Dh15 million on Thursday morning at the Abu Dhabi International Airport’s arrival hall and another Indian expatriate in the UAE rises up to become a millionaire. The jackpot is deemed to be the biggest in the history of million raffle draws in the UAE.
The winner, Sarath Purushothaman from India is based in Dubai. Business Directory in Dubai will be awarded the prize, which is the highest ever being given away by Big Ticket.
The announcement of the lucky winner was broadcast live on social media.
Among the thousands of people who had tried their luck in the massive draw, Sarath’s ticket numbered 083733, bought on December 12, 2018, was picked up, turning the ordinary man into no less than a millionaire in the wake of a single day!
Sarath, who was contacted on the phone to inform him on the news, however, responded calm taking it for a prank.

“You have just won Dh15 million. How do you feel,” one of the draw organizers asked Sarath. “Okay,” the winner responded.

 Awards Dubai had to call him once more to confirm and ‘convince’ the equally astonished and baffled winner that the announcement was legitimate.
